Owen Temple Album Review:
Great New CD at 2002-07-10
Ive been waiting 3 years for Owen to come out with a new cd, and Right Here and Now was well worth the wait. Little Sweet Loss and This Aint Las Vegas are great songs that will keep you singing them long after you heard them. This cd is a must have for anyone who enjoys listening to Texas Country Music. I REPEAT THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

Great NEW CD by Owen Temple at 2002-07-08
I just got Owens new CD and it is awesome. By far his best work to date. The integrity of his songwriting definitly elevates him from a lot of the Texas Music pack. He really raises the bar on this new album and the instruments sound great. This guy is a rising star who could easily compete with a lot of the acts on country radio today but also carves out his spot in the alt-country scene. Basically, this album is what good country music is all about...

Right Here and Now.... pick it up at 2002-06-13
Right Here and Now, finds Owen Temple picking up wherehe left off with his second CD, Passing Through. More songs about lost love, living and workingin the big city, and what it takes to keep relationshipstogether. Temples writing has progressed tremendouslysince 1999. On this CD, Owen moves away from the traditional Texas sounds and gets a few new sparks of musicianship from a few great Nashville session players. The production is with Phil Maidera (instead of LloydMaines) and the sound is a little more raw, edgy and airy.If youve never heard Owens music, start with thisCD and then work your way back to his first CDGeneral Store. Youll appreciate the songsmore and more. Pick it up right here and now.

Good. Not Great. at 2000-01-27
Dont get me wrong...Im pleased with the CD, but I was expecting a Robt Earl Keen or Pat Green sound. This is much more laid back and at times reminds me of some slower George Strait. A good CD if thats what youre looking for. STILL BETTER THAN MAINSTREAM COUNTRY RADIO! By far.

Great new talent - great CD at 1999-12-10
Owen Temples latest disc is great. If youre tired of hearing the same type of 1990s country music from Nashville, give this CD a try. Owens songs come from Texas but are meant for the whole country. Influences are Lefty Frizzell and Merle Haggard... classic country sounds from days ago. Pick up this CD and head for your nearest interstate. Good driving music.

Always in my CD player at 2000-03-04
I bought this CD without having heard any of the songs and has become one of my all-time favorites. The album overall has a very cool theme - life in the Southwest and how small town America has changed. The songs are great, some upbeat, some laid-back, all definitely worth hearing.

Owen Temple Album Review:
One of the Best at 2002-07-20
Owen Temple is one of the best country singers out there, and this CD shows he can write really well too. Not as upbeat as his first one, and not as radio-friendly as his third, but my personal favorite. If youre looking for the real deal on Texas country, its this guy. I saw him in concert recently, if you get a chance go. Its worth your time.
General Store

Owen Temple Album Review:
See him live while you can!!! at 1999-06-16
Owen Temples debut release General Store is an incredible album!! From the first song When I hit San Antone, you will be hooked!!! You will wonder why your not watching him live from a sold out arena! Tennessee Highway is a wonderful song that is incredibly written. If you like artists like Jerry Jeff, Robert Earl Keen, and Pat Green, then I promise you will never stop listening to Owen!!!! If you order it write to me and tell me what YOU think!

Texas Country Through and Through at 2002-07-20
Great CD, has some serious songs, some upbeat ones, and just overall great sound. Worth it for the first three songs alone, but the rest are good listening too. Pick it up.

Another up-and-coming Texas music hero! at 1999-09-21
Owen Temple is quickly following in the tracks of Robert Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Guy Clark and other great singer/songwriters. General Store is not perfect but definitely above average. With a few improvements, Owen will perfect his skills and abilities and go down in history as a great one.

Owen Temple Album Review:
outstanding at 1999-08-19
This is a great album. Every song is a great. Owen is truely one of Texas greatest songwriters. He joins the ranks of Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Robert Earl Keen. This album also includes a song with Texas greats Pat Green and Cory Morrow.

Owen Temple Album Review:
One of the best in my Texas Music collection. at 1999-08-03
My fiancee and I spent 3 years in Indiana recently and had this album along with several others of the Texas Music style to remind us of how great the state of Texas is. General Store is one I can put in the CD player over and over and never get tired of listening. Owen Temple has definite talent for the singer / songwriter classification. Each song on this album is his own except Jaded Lover, which is complete with vocals from Pat Green and Cory Morrow. The album is up-beat, each song has a different story, and it is fun. I cant wait for the opportunity to see Owen in concert and I will certainly make my way down Mount Bonnel Road to the Dry Creek cafe and dock the next time Im in Austin.
