Flametrick Subs Album Review:
Great rock and roll from the Lone Star State! at 2003-04-11 The Subs have been together for over ten years and you can hear it on this album. Their live show is where you understand how much energy this band has, and, strangely they have captured some of that raw stage presence on their latest album. Songs like The Pride of Texas Drinking with Dad and of course their anthem Plastic Jesus all show the wit and tongue-in-cheek humor the band brings to the plate. Without a doubt, I would recommend this album to anyone interested in good rockabilly, psychobilly, gothabilly, swamp, etc etc. Its good clean fun for the whole family!
Flametrick Subs Album Review:
BUY IT.....but not here. at 2005-05-11 This is a great psychobilly album, The Flametrick Subs have been my favorite band for years. This album is still for sale at shows all over Texas and in Oklahoma, too. Check out their website, these guys kick ass!!
Flametrick Subs Album Review:
Scorching guitars, definitely not the norm at 2003-08-04 Well the lyrics can be a bit silly, some of them kind of remind me of the Monster Mash, not thats necesarrily bad. The lightness of the lyrics are offset by the guitarist who is a force of nature. From early albums to this one the guy shows a lot more control and power. You cant help but focusing on him during the songs, I think the producer picked up on this because the guitars seem to be in the front. Great stuff thats different but isnt trying to be different just to pose. Buy this album!

Flametrick Subs Album Review:
The pride of Texas!!!!! at 2002-03-06 If you are able to get your hands on this disc, I highly reccomend you do so. The Flametrick Subs are without a doubt one the the greatest rockabilly groups of all time. After the first track I was hooked. If you love rockn roll with a twist of Johny Cash, you need this album.P.S. if you own a primered El Camino and you like cruisin for chicks in the trailer park.....chicks dig flametricks!
Flametrick Subs Album Review:
Good but missing something at 2003-10-22 Im a big fan of T.F.S. but I have to give this 3 stars. The album doesnt capture their sound. The songs are great but it just doesnt have the same power that comes across live.Better to get Undead at the Black Cat Lounge (you might even hear me clapping) or Something in Japanese.Oh yeah, I know this is out of print, but you would be completely insane to buy this for $80.00!!! Try lowering the price closer to $20!
