Quartershackle was formed in the fall of 2004. Taking the opportunity to establish themselves in the national scene, Quartershackle's four members have combined their respective talents to form a unique sound that has become more than the sum of their four parts.
The band is comprised of lead vocalist Joe Schlaudraff and guitarist Arturo Jaimes, former members of the Austin based band Shades of Autumn, along with bassist Blaine Matte and seasoned studio-session drummer Chris Farrell of New York based bands Organic Juice, Hair of the Dog and Haulin? Mother. The members teamed up with producer Rob Hinton of 2222 Productions (worked with artists such as Metallica, Korn, Michael Jackson, Macy Gray, Tom Morrello, X-Japan) to create a sound that is new, original, and personifies through music the respective talents of the musicians.
