Singer/songwriter Mark Campbell has a solo career as an acoustic singer and player, while keeping up a major role in the rock group Soulshaker.
You can find Mark in Austin clubs such as Bennigan's, Fat Tuesdays, the Spot, Babes on 6th, or Steamboat. He shares a CD with Soulshaker, which is available at Tower, Local Flavor, Borders, Waterloo, Saradora's Coffehouse and Neptunes.
Mark Campbell, also known as the "One Man Acoustic Rock and Roll Show," has been a constant public presence since 1989. His leaning towards music like Led Zeppelin, Beatles and Deep Purple earned him the moniker. His own album from 1994 More Luck Than a Cartoon Cat was more of the Texas Blues/Pop persuasion, and featured a group of comedy numbers like" I Was a Contact for a U.F.O." 1999 will see a new CD, with 3 or 4 songs from the previous Mark Campbell?Soulshaker release.
