Karen Abrahams has a great voice! There aren't many songs that wouldn't sound great having her sing them. She is all over the Americana spectrum with rootsy, powerful originals that include jive, blues, swing, folk, country, and bluegrass.
Written All My Letters (2005) is a solo release. Playing with her on this album are Richard Bowden, Chip Dolan, and Bradley Kopp. She's sung with numerous bands, including Reckless Abandon, The Back Porch Vipers, Redeye, and The Bellyful of Blues Band.
Other albums include Light Up (with the Back Porch Vipers), For the Love of the Song, and Still Feeling Blue. Abrahams is an award-winning singer-songwriter, a Kerrville New Folk Winner, an Austin Theatre Critics award for original music winner, and a B. Iden Payne award winner for original music.
