Joe Montgomery sings love songs of death and madness. In the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Steve Earle and Townes Van Zandt, his music gives voice to the stories of the lost and forgotten. He lives in a world of Cone Dogs and Birthday Fish where murderers recite Shakespeare and border radio is a form of religion.
