Acoustic jazz and classic swing of the 20's and 30's are the sound of the Garreth Broesche Trio. Broesche is the band's composer, arranger, and singer while playing mandolin and tenor guitar.

The group's debut CD is The Garreth Broesche Trio, which features Broesche, Lindsay Green on bass, Chris Gage on guitar and accordian, Paul Pearcy on drums, J.D. Pendley on guitar and Rob Jewett on bass. The album was recorded partly in the studio and partly during an Eklektikos performance on KUT-FM, which explains the varying makeup of the trio on the album.

Recent performances by this group have been at Ego's and the Green Mesquite. The Austin Chronicle described the band as having a "laid-back, warm-summer-day cadence," with great chemistry. Swing is guaranteed to do one thing: make you get happy. This group's style is delightfully in keeping with that rule, but the mandolin adds a unique flavor that sets the band apart.
