The Doug Moreland Show features musician and artist Doug Moreland on fiddle and guitar, his fellow west-Texan Matt Skinner on lead guitar, Eric Lenington on the upright bass, Andrew Silver on drums, and Clay Corn on piano. The singer/songwriter Doug Moreland melds his west Texas upbringing with a coastal feeling and his own brand of humor, creating a refreshing sound for his new 5-piece country/swing band.

Moreland has five full-length albums to date, including #Fore! (2002), Number Tres Live (2000), Toast to Life (1999) and 10 Beers from Now (1999). His songs are also featured on some compilations, including Genuine Austin Gospel Music (2005) and the Red River Tribute to Waylon Jennings (2003). He's has been entertaining crowds in Texas and abroad for over six years as a solo artist. He grew up in West Texas and got his start in music playing fiddle and cracking jokes. He still does plenty of both and is well-known for his humor.

Moreland lives in Manchaca, where he creates and sells chainsaw art at his store "Cattlelacs." That's a good place to stop for a chat, a look at the chainsaw art, and some good country music CDs by Moreland and other artists.
