Amberjack Rice's Bio:
When Amberjack Rice played The Hole in the Wall it was reported that, "Rice took the stage for a performance that engaged the entire club, not to mention those standing on the street outside."
Catalogued in various locations as pop/rock and country, Amberjack Rice has the raw emotion in his voice that usually gets heard in blues bars.
Bicycle Vigalante was released in 1997. Ken Lieck, who reviewed Bicycle Vigalante for The Austin Chronicle, said this: "There's no shortage of musical styles on this disc, as evidenced by the Primus/Butthole Surfer hybrid title track, which is the theme song for a very unusual superhero. Elsewhere, the dominant standup bass and acoustic guitar are used to more conventional ends. Overall, a helluva lot of fun, and a much better experience than sitting in front of your stereo listening to one guy play a guitar."
