Dim Lit DayLight is a mix of indie, alterna-rock with a singer/songwriter flair and a twist of pop. Their lyrical poetry seizes your heart and heeds you to listen.
Dim Lit DayLight released their self-titled, debut album in the fall of 2005. Hailing from Los Angeles the pair began touring and while on the road in 2006 wrote and recorded their second album, Time Machine, releasing it in January 2007. Time Machine features songs previously unreleased and seeks a delicate balance between heartfelt songwriting and alterna textures to create an original album from start to finish.
Created by best friends, Josh Free (left) and Anthony Montanino (right), Dim Lit DayLight was born after a previous project ended in 2004. With 8+ years of touring, writing and performing under their belts, this was a new beginning for the duo.
Now a little over one year into their ambitious 3-year tour and two albums later, the pair are living out their dreams and quickly gaining momentum. They expect to release their third album in the fall of 2007.
