| Guy Forsyth Announces Engagement
The Saxon Pub has always been my favorite venue for New Years Eve.
I was excited to hear that Guy Forsyth, would again this year be the headliner. I arrived around 10 PM to a packed house, The Resentments were playing their last song. I noticed a friend, who managed to grab a table for the evening. The room filled up as Guy Forsyth began to play, a few more friends joined the table, and a beautiful long brown haired, beauty with a soft smile and soft beautiful brown eyes joined our table. This is when Guy Forsyth took the microphone and said this song goes out to my beautiful. fiance Le. That is when everyone in the room, even I realized that, the secret was out, Guy does have a girl friend. Guy Forsyth was not only announcing his engagement, he was introducing to everyone for the first time publicly the woman he loves. The evening just became more exciting and invigorating as Guy performed. Guy was beaming, his musical storytelling, and the upbeat energy coming from the band, and the crowd, kept the dance floor filled. I had a chance to speak with, Guys Fiance, Le Easter. Le, told me that she had met Guy, at Joes Generic Bar, on Jan 5th, 1993. I was captivated by her beauty, and the softness of her eyes. Le, also told me that after tonites gig, they were off on vacation for some quite time together. I believe this was the best place, I could have been ,on New Years Eve.
