Gordy Quist Bio

Gordy Quist is a young Texas native who is earning rave reviews for his downhome country music singing and songwriting. The critics love him, the fans love him, the radio stations love him: he seems destined for a great future in country music.

His debut CD is Songs Play Me (2004). Critics are comparing him with songwriters like Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt.

He plays at the Saxon Pub and similar venues in Austin, but keep your eye on the club listings for him, because he is really in demand on the road and has a heavy travel schedule.
