Popular rockers often appearing at the Red Eyed Fly, Deejer is also making themselves famous on garageband.com with their tune "Push Pull."
Chris Didear and guitar player Brandon Gibbs formed the songwriting collaboration that is now the band Deejer. Bob Kennedy plays bass, John Gomez plays drums and Jeremy Moore plays lead guitar to complete the band line-up.
In 2003, Deejer recorded three songs that all charted in the top 20 on Garageband.com. They also released a music video for the song ?Push Pull? which has received rotation on the Austin Music Network (AMN). In addition, the song received spins on 93.7 KLBJ (Austin) and the band was selected as a ?Schmooze Fest? artist during SXSW 2003.
Chris Didear played drums in several popular Austin rock bands, including Gypsy Rogue, Blind Date, Catch 22, and most recently, 50 Mission Crush. Chris's last year with 50 Mission Crush was featured in the David Reyes documentary film, "Walking the Crooked Mile."
Deejer co-founder Brandon Gibbs, a singer/songwriter and guitar player for 11 years, was the former frontman for Austin rock band Overflow.
