She ventured through the world of country music while living in California and playing with a group called Dawn Maracle and Daybreak. While in California she played and sang with other groups as well. She moved to Austin in 1998. She has been active as a perform in musical theater, playing roles such as Janis Joplin and Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde.
