Dave Jorgenson Bio

Dave Jorgenson is earning rave reviews from local club regulars, radio and television shows, and country music reviewers world wide with his 2002 album Then and Now. You can trust the rave reviews on this guy ? he's worth watching for in the clubs and making it a point to go see.

Then and Now contains nine original songs and was produced by Benny McArthur, the guitarist with George Strait's Ace-in-the-Hole Band. Then and Now reflects the honky tonk roots sound that Jorgenson favors.

Jorgenson is a prolific songwriter, with over 100 tunes to his credit. Plenty for another album very soon! Jorgenson has a fine singing voice, perfect for his country sound, and a remarkable ability to turn out a meaningful tune that makes the toes tap and the dance floor beckon.

With a band transplanted from Wisconsin to Austin, Jorgenson is backed by Jim Lutz on guitar, Karen Hein on bass and vocals and GW on drums.
